This is the twentieth day I came here. Shenzhen is, yes, a good city, a city full of vitality, a city full of opportunities, and a city full of treasure. For a man who has just graduated from university, this place is sort of difficult to be rooted. So is me. Thus, it is a difficult time for me now in Shenzhen. However, I am trying best to adjust myself to be a more qualified man for this ever competitive society, and I believe I can.

The other day, when my elder brother talked sense into me, I did get a lot. Before that, I was worried much about my job, while after that, I eased myself down and adapted my sense, becoming more confident and reasonable. Of course, I am not saying that I do not worry about my future any more. I still have my nerve on the edge, and try any means to find my own way, to figure out what I want to do. I have become more able to wait.

Since I do not have a job now and I want to do something, to write something down has, no doubt, been the first choice. However, the problem occurred the moment I decided to write something down. What topic to choose? This really puzzled me for a bit while till three days ago. On that day, my elder suggested me to write something on my blog about the history, such Yuan dynasty or some other specific area. He asked me to tell the history in a different way. This inspired me a lot. And after a night’s thought, I finally decided to write something about Shenzhen in English first. This series will be what I see in Shenzhen, what I hear in Shenzhen, what I eat in Shenzhen, how I feel in Shenzhen, and such like to kill time and to learn Shenzhen.
